Confirm the polymer and material source

Before selecting a pelletizing arrangement, identify whether the feedstock is PP, PE or a mixture, and record its source. Describe differences between production scrap and collected film. The extrusion discussion needs the actual material condition rather than a general film label.

Agree the required preparation

For film that needs washing, coordinate the cleaning and output-preparation stages with the pelletizing supplier. For material that does not require washing, document why the proposed direct route is suitable. The input condition should be confirmed through the agreed material evaluation.

Check the feeding interface

Record whether the film reaches the pelletizer as loose material, prepared pieces or another agreed form. Confirm storage, transfer and feeding arrangements across the equipment boundary. The proposal should explain the input conditions under which the line is intended to operate.

Define the pellet target

  • State the intended downstream application.
  • Agree the material and cleanliness requirements.
  • Discuss the proposed filtration and output arrangement.
  • Document trial material, evaluation conditions and acceptance criteria.
